One of my new favorite Spas! This old boat converted into a spa is just amazing! It's such a unique atmosphere.
You will need your own flip flops (not mandatory but nice to have) and a bathing suit. If you forget your flip flops or swimsuit they have a small selection that can be purchased at check in.
My boyfriend and I just went for my birthday last week. This was my second time at Bota Bota and I just love this place.
If you go during peak hours it's a bit more expensive. We stayed for 3 hours and you can stay for longer but it goes up about $10. I like that the spa offers different price increments depending on how long you stay. Most Scandinavian spas I've been to charge one base price.
I've tried a few food items here and so far I've really enjoyed every dish. There are a lot of vegetarian options and on our last trip we shared the cheese plate and the apple tart.
Both were delicious! The food is expensive but it's tasty and filling. Comparing it to other spas in the area (& Ottawa area) I found often the food is expensive and not very good.
You pay for the "baths" and food at check out which is really nice. You don't need your wallet through the day.
The robes and towels are included in your entry price. The locker rooms are clean and have shampoo, soap, plastic bags for your swimsuit and all the other amenities you might need after your Spa day.
A great place for full relaxation by Old Montreal.
