We stopped in for Restaurant Week and sooo glad we did! We had reservations for 7pm but got there early and was promptly seated in a great little corner booth. My boyfriend and I each had a cocktail and looked over the restaurant week menu (you can also order off the full menu as well). Everything looked great on the restaurant week menu so we each decided on ordering off of that. My boyfriend started with the Coffee Rubbed Bison Carpaccio and I had the Lobster + Asparagus Anson Mills Grits and both were OUTSTANDING! I am craving mine still. We then both settled on the Wagyu Flat Iron Steak. Normally we bot get something different but we were both craving that. It was soooo good. The portions were HUGE too! I couldn't finish all of mine. Then for dessert we both settled on the Lemon Meringue Posset and it was so refreshing!
Our server was excellent as well.
It had been years (since they reopened in the early 2000's) and that was the last time I had eaten at ZuZu and it was not impressive at all hence why I had not been back in years but after this dinning experience we will certainly be back soon whether for cocktails and apps or dinner.
