Ordered take out here today and I've been wanting to try this place for a while now! From all the reviews, seems like their food is great but they have terrible service, which is why I opted for take out.
So I got the General Tso's chicken lunch special and that comes with white or fried rice and your choice of a soup! For $7.95 before tax, that's not a horrible price and I think their portion sizes are pretty decent.
I did not really enjoy my General Tso's chicken. I don't know exactly what it was but it's waaaaay too sweet and also there's a weird fishy aftertaste. They probably used too much fish sauce in the sauce but the surprising fishy aftertaste made eating the food very unpleasant for me... but the chicken itself is fried very well and you get a lot of it! But I just don't enjoy the way they make their General Tso's chicken. The hot and sour soup was pretty good and had a good consistency, which is rare to find.
I interacted with a young woman for less than five minutes but she was really nice and polite to me. Not enough to form a full opinion, but I didn't have any issues with the brief service I received. I hope to stop by again and try some of the other food on their lunch menu since the general Tso's was a miss.
