| - This review is not for their service, but rather their complete and astounding lack of professionalism and communication! We actually tried to hire them, I was even ready to cut a deposit check for the work, but after numerous efforts via email and even a few phone messages to get them to get back to me, we simply gave up. Jody, their estimate guy, came and gave an estimate for resurfacing our pool which we thought was fair. I told him we will move forward and will cut him a check for the deposit, however we wanted to add a little bit of work to it and asked if they could refer us to a good stack stone guy to redo our raised patio right by the pool. He stated that they also could do that work for us, and that when he came by to sign the agreement/pick up the check, he would look at the job and give us an estimate for that as well. So when he arrived he looked at the area we wanted to have done and then stated he would need to work up the proposal. I asked if he would like a check for the pool part of the job so we could get moving on that, and he said, "no we'll just wait until we get this proposal done as well". I expected to hear back after a day or two. A few days later I emailed him to ask when I could expect the full proposal. He did email me back at that point and stated, "I will have to bring the stone mason by to look at it. I will let you know when we can come by." That was the last time I ever heard from him. Over the next week, I emailed him again with zero response asking when I could expect them to come out (so I could be here). I then called his cell phone and left a message a few days later after he didn't respond to the emails. Still nothing. I finally called the office directly and let them know that I had been trying to reach him for over a week but he was not returning calls and emails. They promised that he would get back to me. They took the message with my contact info. That was early last week...still nothing. It has now been nearly 3 weeks. I guess we were dropped like a hot potato because our project was not profitable maybe for this time of year? But I guess I will never know as this individual couldn't be bothered to return any phone calls or emails, even AFTER we said we were ready to hire them....I guess it's fortunate that I didn't cut them a check after all. Their pathetic communication tells me all I need to know about how it would have been to try and work with them (and it looks like Scott S.'s review of them last week was probably the exact experience that we were in for....).
