This place is worth coming to even though we don't think it's at the top of our 'return to' list.
We were quickly greeted and seated by the windows. Would have been a great place to sit in the spring, summer or fall but with the colder temps it was too cold so we asked to move. They were super awesome about it. Where we ended up sitting was warmer but not warm enough. We ended up putting on our coats and we weren't alone. To be clear and fair temps outside were single digit.
The service was super friendly and responsive. My partner got the lamb izkander and it was great. Very flavorful. I got the chicken Adana. Again tasty. While good we were not blown away. We both got the apple tea. It was so delicious. Definitely something different! We ended the meal with dessert. It was a cheese pasty thing with a name that I don't remember. At my age it is not often that I can say I've never had anything like this...but last night I did. I liked it. It was so unsual. Basically it shredded philo and honey crust with a cheese (not a cream cheese but like cows milk cheese) in the center. Truly gotta try it. I liked it. The jury is still out for my companion on this dessert.
I'm recommending this place. It's worth coming too when it's not freezing cold out. I think you will e satisfied like we were. We just weren't wowed enough in any aspect or combination of aspects to warrant trip back.
