rev:text	I am looking into asking my regular Dr. to refer me to someone else. The shit hit the fan, whoop. I came in for my 3 month check up and the same Dr. that I've been seeing for the past 3 months comes into the room, greets me, shakes my hand and walks straight to her computer. If I knew that all it took to be a Dr. is have a computer spit out solutions and a diagnosis, I would've become a Dr. too! Anyway, with my chart in her front of her face, and my current vitals in her hands WITH MY NAME ON IT, and she asks me what my name is?! Then she says "So, what did we do? What treatment did we take?" I don't know BITCH, read it in my chart, maybe it will explain it to you?!?!?! Then she proceeds to talk to me as IF I knew what the fuck she was talking about. To top it off, she has a thick accent... I'm BROWN, I'm ETHNIC myself, and I know what it's like to be "different", BUT I have never given someone a dirty look because they cannot understand me!!! I have not inputted your name here (Dr.) and I have not decided to at this point. But here are a few things that you could maybe do to "up" your game: -Have/Show your patients some compassion. The last thing your patients need is to feel like a number in your everyday schedule. -Read/Review your patients chart before you open your mouth. Otherwise, people start to lose confidence in whatever comes out of your mouth. -If you tell your patient to "Call me anytime" and the actually do, do NOT make them feel like they are a burden for doing so. Hopefully I will be saying "Bye Bye Palm Medical" in the next month. I don't heart you, I don't even like you.
