I joined at the beginning of year to get jumpstart on my weight loss goals and this location was closer than the gym I was already going to. Sign up was easy enough. They claim a free onboarding and assessment with a personal trainer-this is just a way for them to get you to sign up for personal training. Asked a few random questions and put me on a machine at a super high setting-yeah anyone would be out of breath. Smh. But I had planned on trying a trainer anyway so I was game for signing up. The prices astronomical! I agreed try to 3 sessions and a cardio assessment. Scam. Did the assessment and was told by my college student trainer a day later they didn't do it right and I'd have to come in next month. Went through one training session with the same college student - nothing more than him watching me work out. Got no meal planning help-just handed a sheet of paper on "eating well" they give to everyone. No workout plan to help with my areas of concern provided to me. Oh and every single question I had was answered with a sales pitch to buy supplements or something else "special" for a cost item. Canceled and got refund next day and found real trainer. Please note this facility is old, ok but old equipment, and those new shiney pictures they have posted are NOT this location. They get 2 stars because the place is fairly empty the times I like to work out in the early in the morning unlike the Fitness connection up the street-so I can get in and get out pretty easy.
