  • just look for the big chicken on top ...this is a real honest to goodness diner located in the strip district *cash only* there is a counter and booths the Tv is on with the local news in the mornings SO they do open really early as any legit diner should so depending if its a weekday you can head on in grab a table with vintage boomerang formica or sit at the counter everyone there is very friendly and welcoming if you decide to go on a weekend be prepared for the line out the door but as their sign says the line will move so if you can only do a weekend its worth the wait for me I like to go on a week day early they have your usual breakfasts eggs bacon toast they also have Benedicts I have had their avocado veggie version and its so good! then there are their pancakes season featured my favorite pumpkin which comes in a few varieties even one with ice cream its all so good and their fish sammie a big piece of perfecty fried cod...that thing is huge on a nice fresh roll even their tartar sauce is good nice n creamy lots other sammie choices and burgers they have shakes and sodas their ice tea is surprisingly good I always have it a meal is about 10 bucks plus a drink or shake this is a great place ok so parking can be a hassle on a weekend just take a deep breath and remain calm a metered spot will open up or take the bus
