| - Why didn't I listen... WHY?! This was try #2 for me with these guys. I won't bore you with the details of the first time. So, I work from home for a large "corporate-y" company that doesn't take "the tech didn't show" for an answer when asked why am I not coming in today. I needed the internet. I called a week before moving to make sure they could install the same day, "Sure, no problem!". I called the Thursday before moving to make sure a tech was going to show up. "Yes, he'll be there!" So I started calling customer support on Saturday because I wasn't getting their follow up call and they're telling me an ETA of 5:30, then 7 o'clock, 7:30, 8 o'clock... Then finally after customer service closes, so I have to call technical support to see where the technician is and a supervisor tells me "Oh, technicians don't do installations on weekends!" Are you @&$#? serious?! No one else in your company knew that? No reps, no one via chat? I had to wait 2 weeks, all day today? And I'm going to have to wait all Monday... And miss work :/ Stay way from these people. If it looks too good to be true...
UPDATE: COX came to my home bright and early Monday morning and had me connected in less than 1/2 hour. Regardless of what you say about them, they get you up and running like the cocaine dealers they are.
