  • RUN!! RUN FAST!! My fiancee and I came here for my first massage. The first thing I noticed was jackhammering. Looks like they are doing construction on the pool. I asked the lady at the front desk if I will be able to hear the jackhammering when I am getting my massage.. She said "I sure hope not" I said are you sure because it is awfully loud. She stepped away and reappeared a moment later and said "you will be able to hear it a little in the locker area and not at all in the rooms." I say okay and we go to different locker rooms for our massage The jackhammering was loud in the locker room. I go to the hot tub to relax before my massage..... jackhammering.... I am led to my massage room. The jackhammering is even LOUDER. I said to the massuese that I was assured I wouldn't hear the noise. She said, "they should not have told you that,it's real bad" I try to relax. I ask her to turn up the music. Nothing worked. All I could hear was jackhammering. I told her I would not be able to enjoy so I ended the massage. I get dress and go to the front desk. Wow, here we go ...... Not much of an apology at all. When I pointed out that they lied right to my face twice,I got a shrug. They didn't charge me. They really didn't say much at all.My fiancee stayed,she said it wasn't that bad on the women's side,just a slight hummmmmm that she could ignore. The manager made no effort to do anything. My fiancee and I are both local bartenders and it was my customers (who spend a lot of money at Drift,correction did spend) who recommended this spa. I told them what happened and they were appalled. Everyone I have told has been shocked as well. Truly an unprofessional outfit. There are a lot of great spas,spend your money at one of them.
