  • I've become keenly aware of the obligation to support local businesses and the Blue Door is certainly a place I'd like to support. However, upon my last visiting found the menu to be overly pretentious and out of touch for the area. Sadly my wife and I were seated in a crowded area nearly on top of other diners and were then ignored. We left after 15 minutes when no one took our drink orders or offered any assistance. I would recommend the Village Garden restaurant jus a half mile north of the Blue Door if you actually want food AND service.
