First time in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in years as a Darius Rucker concert at The Joint brought us over for the night.
Self-parking was much easier than I expected, considering we were coming to a show on a Saturday night, and the walk from self-parking to the interior of the casino was not bad at all.
While we probably should have done Pink Taco before the show, we decided to hit the Race and Sports Book to have pre-show drinks and watch the second half of the Notre Dame-Florida State football game.
While the sports book seating area is rather small and looks more like Mission Control in Houston for a NASA-themed movie, the bar to the side had two extremely cool and attractive ladies working hard for us. Sheila may have been the best looking woman I saw in Vegas the entire weekend and the gorgeous Lindy said if I dumped my friend she would have joined me for the concert. (It was considered...but he has been a friend for too long)
Oh, and if a tremendous football game (THERE WAS NO PASS INTERFERENCE) combined with beautiful ladies wasn't enough...factor in awesome drink specials. We had our choice of ANY draft for $3 or any Bacardi or Grey Goose cocktail for $6. (Seriously, this is the Hard Rock? No wonder my Griddle Cafe visit from later that night is a bit sketchy)
We enjoyed our time in the Hard Rock before and during the show and had no problems getting out of the parking garage when the show ended either.
