| - Unfortunately, we were a little late for our show so I did not get to sit back and soak in the historic beauty of this place preshow. However, despite our tardiness, staff was nice enough to let us take our seats (don't worry they were at the very back of theatre so we were not those inconsiderate jerks who come in late, step on your toes, stick their bum in your face, knock over your drink, and block your view as they try to locate seats in the dark). During intermission, I did get a better look and liked what I saw. It's charming and has a lot of character and original details. The lobby is rather small so you will likely have to do some crowd surfing if you want to buy concessions or hang out there. I prefer downstairs -- plenty of restrooms given the age of the building, a coat check in for the winter time, some seating, and most importantly multiple bars. I was impressed with the variety of adult beverages, including several flavored vodkas. If I were not already liquored up by The Twisted Frenchman earlier in the evening, I would have indulged. I enjoyed the show (Kinky Boots), and the evening was over all too quickly. Hope to return for a do over!
