I've been to this restaurant several times, and as a Texan I had Texan-like expectations -- that is, I expected it to be Meican food. While it is definitely not Mexican food, it is tasty and it is a nice, fun place for friends or a date.
I've had many of the tacos -- which have all been very good. Two is enough for a big Texan like me. I often share an appetizer with a friend too. I suggest the lobster nachos. They come with these lime bubbles on them -- I know, I know -- but they are really good. The lime and the lobster really compliment one another. I've also had the grits -- which were good as well. And trust me, I've had many many bowls of grits in my life time as a Southerner.
Enjoy the 'ritas too, of course. While, again, they aren't anything like we've got in Texas -- Yo Rita's are more like spiked lime juice cocktails served in martini glasses -- they are very tasty and pack quite a punch. I usually drink two before continuing on for a night of festivities.
Just wanted to add a bit about the bar -- there is clearly a bar there for singles to go and mingle. While I've never done this, everytime I go with a group I wonder why I haven't gone as a single yet. Just a thought.
