We've been to DC Steak House several times and had excellent service and food. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for our experience on Saturday night. My children took me out for Mothers Day and I ordered the baby back ribs. I've had them three times previously and they were fall off the bone tender. This time, they were not tender at all. In order to eat them, I had to pick them up and chew off the bone. My daughter got the same ribs and they were as I previously experienced - fall off the bone tender. I sent my ribs back (I was told that my daughter got the ribs from the "appetizer portions" and I got the ribs from the "main course" portion - apparently the baby-back ribs are different according to what you order. My husband and kids were completely finished with their meals when my replacement dinner finally arrived. I asked to have the dinner boxed up since everyone else was finished and asked what adjustment would be made on the bill. The "manager" said that no adjustment would be made if I took the dinner to-go, but the dinner would be taken off the bill if I didn't take the dinner. The upshot of the evening was that I didn't get dinner and the manager had no interest at all in whether we returned or not. It's definitely an "Or Not". Blue 32 has ribs that are far better, cheaper and with great customer service. We've seen the last of DC Steakhouse.
