| - With home warranties, you just never know what you're gonna get. When I scheduled my appt to have my heat looked at, I was told 8a-1p. Day rolls around & I find out it was set for 1p-6p. 5hrs wasted. 7p rolls around, no 30-min call, no show. Now, 11hrs wasted. Called. Closed. So, I called their 24-hour emergency number. I was clearly p!ssed off but the girl responded with urgency & got someone to my house in about 15min. The tech (Chris?) was extremely apologetic & even took full responsibility for what'd happened, as he was the original tech assigned & made a mistake. I'm in a relationship driven business & totally appreciated that honesty (I mean, we ARE human, just own it). He was also in urgent mode, because he was late & thought I was going to come unglued... even so, he took time to explain the components & how the system works & why it wasn't working. They had to order a part & come back... round 2 ran much smoother. The people I interacted with on the phone & the tech were pleasant &, 11 hours aside, quickly remedied what could've just as quickly turned into a really awful experience. I would not be opposed to using them again, even after my warranty expires.
