I went over to see the CN tower from my hotel with no intentions of going to the top after reading reviews about notoriously long lines. I was however pleasantly surprised when I got there to encounter no line at all. Maybe it was because it was a Monday night. The tickets were kind of pricey at 34 CAD but it was actually well worth it. The experience begins with the glass elevator ride up to the 114th floor where you watch the city below you shrink. At 114th you get beautiful views of Toronto and Lake Ontario. One flight down there's a glass floor which is half exhilarating half scary as it sinks in that the only thing that separates you from a 114 story fall is a piece of glass. You're also allowed to go outside to feel what it's like being that high up but you'll be rushed right back in after getting a few gusts of wind. Overall this is a must stop if you are in Toronto.
