  • My mom and dad actually stayed for their anniversary. I called the hotel ahead and asked about getting a dinner paid for and a card left in their room to let them know. Not only did they deliver on that but they brought champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to their room. I got a chance to see the room. It was huge! The bathroom is bigger than at my house. Super clean. Well kept. Someone else said that it was ghetto and needed remodeling because of a ceiling fan in the room. Sorry but welcome to the desert. We're local. It was a staycation for them. It's phenomenonal to get a ceiling fan in a room when it's 110 outside. Sorry if that's too passe/tacky for some people but it's amazingly functional in the dry heat of the desert. The grounds are beautiful. Waterfalls everywhere. The service was exceptional and the room was huge and clean. I don't know what more you could ask for. If you want to be off the strip and have a more low key, chill environment, check this place out. They got their stuff together. Oh! And eat at the Hawthorne Grill while you're there. Same exceptional level of service and spectacular food.
