| - If I had to describe Yoga Hangout in one word, I would call it unique. This studio offers a variety of yoga and barre classes every day. And when I say variety, I mean it. In addition to the usual Flow classes, they also have Goddess Yoga and Hang Yoga Classes. I didn't get a chance to try Hang classes, but I have heard nothing but great things about them.
Goddess Yoga is VERY different, but a lot of fun. This class combines yoga poses with various dance moves. Fun and very different, but if you're a very traditional and structured yogi, Goddess Yoga may not be for you. For me, it was a good opportunity for stress relief, but not challenging enough for me to adopt as a regular workout.
Of all the classes, I enjoyed the barre classes the best. I felt that they were challenging enough for me and I was never bored. The teaching styles of the instructors are very different so you'll never get the same workout twice. It's only offered once a day in a very small room, so signing up for the class online is necessary in order to reserve your spot. Just a warning, it's different that the Barre Studio chains but I think it still gets the job done.
Overall, I think it's a good solid studio with a very loyal clientele. I wish there were more barre classes offered so I could go more often. Classes here were a good experience, but just not the studio for me. Definitely a studio worth trying though!
