| - The food here is stupid good! The thing is, sometimes the cook messes up your order, and that can be super disconcerting when you have an anaphylactic-grade food allergy. *Some may say I should just give up restaurants that serve my allergen altogether, but I say it's worth the risk to enjoy all that SE Asia has to offer.
Pro-tip: Come here early. Once they get crowded, the cook seems to get a bit overwhelmed. My boyfriend ordered a #31 with pork and was served something entirely different - not spicy in the slightest - with beef. I had some. It was not what he wanted. It was not even close.
The waitress warned him as she served him that it was the wrong meal, and offered to re-put the order in, but also followed that up by saying that it would take a long time, as the restaurant was filling up and the cook was busy. My poor guy was hungry, so he said it was fine.
Honestly, if a restaurant mixes up an order so badly that the server notices before she gets to the table, I would prefer that she take it back to the cook and FAST-TRACK that sh*t to get it right.
Nothing was knocked off the bill. There wasn't really any kind of apology, either.
We WILL go back. Mostly because I friggin' love their noodles and curry. But I won't allow the wrong meal to be served again - I'll ask them to remake it, and you should too.
As far as parking, there's a shared lot that always has spots. If it's wintertime, bring a sweater or hoodie - it can be a bit drafty in spots.
