  • Disclaimer: this review is not based on Dr. Robi's expertise or service personally. This is on my experience before ever getting to see her. I rarely give bad reviews on Yelp because it's usually not worth the energy. But this was extremely disappointing. I am 26 and my insurance ends on Thursday. I'm also new to the area so I don't have a regular doctor yet. A few weeks ago, I scheduled an appointment here through ZocDoc. I understand this is a third party appointment system. However, not only did I receive an email that my appointment was confirmed by Dr. Robi's office, but I also spoke on the phone with the front desk staff on two occasions. One of these phone calls was to remind me to upload my insurance information prior to my appointment time and I did that. I then received another confirmation that my insurance had been added. After receiving multiple reminders about the appointment via email and text from ZocDoc, I showed up today and was told not only did I not have an appointment but that there was no record of me, period. My name was no where to be found. If this was the case, I'm not sure how they would have gotten ahold of me both times they called. I told the front desk that my insurance was ending on Thursday and I was met with a blank stare. No help. No offer to reschedule. Literally zero words came out of her mouth. I showed her my confirmation email and was simply told "unless you get a phone call from us you don't have an appointment". Even though I told her I spoke with someone twice, nothing. Not only is this bad customer service but you're in healthcare. You're in a business that is seriously subpar in this state and to get an appointment is not always easy. To not even pretend to care or accommodate is just disappointing. I took off work this morning to get to this appointment and for those of us that work 9-5's, it's not easy to just take another morning off to get this stuff done. To simply offer not assistance to get me in before my insurance ends was unacceptable. I know my insurance stuff is not their issue but they should at least pretend to care. So I guess the point of my posting this is if you decide to come here call them a million times to confirm so you don't waste your time. And don't be surprised if when you have issues the front desk just does not care. And my suggestion to this office is to not use ZocDoc if you're not going to honor their system confirmations or work closely with it to ensure all client's have the correct information.
