Went here saturday night to meet some friends. It was my first time and after checking out the menu I must say I was pretty excited to go. My friend made reservations and when I arrived I told the hostess my parties name and was led into the secret room. Pretty cool vibe but this is where it got annoying. The service was pretty horrible! Our waitress saw that I was new to the table so she brought a glass and said she would be right back to pour some punch that my friends ordered. Well she never returned to do that. I then flagged her down to order a beer. At that point my friend reminded her that he ordered a beer a while ago and never received it. The beers finally arrived. After finishing that drink I wanted to try one of the fancy cocktails they are known for. I ordered an ode to Nc. After about 15 minutes I asked the waitress about my drink. She then comes back to report they ran out of cheerwine. It takes 15 minutes to tell someone they are out of cheerwine. She did recommend a new drink which was her one and only shining moment of the night. Being that this place can only hold 37 people, is located in the Ritz Carlton and charge on average $18 dollars for a drink, I would expect way better service!!! The only reason this gets 3 stars is because the drinks were really tasty. My hats off to the mixologist behind the drink menu. Maybe it was an off night but if this is the standard service you receive they need to really step up their game.
