  • Take bug spray. We've tried to visit each time we're in Madison and always screw up. There's a sea of mosquitos and we are huge babies - we never end up conquering any of the hikes or exploring because of the bugs once we try and get on the trails. We don't live in the area so I'm a bit bummed we haven't been able to really see what this spot has to offer. I do think the turkeys running wild are neat!!!
