Let me start off with the good before I go on a tangent. I received exceptional customer service from from desk and booking/check in was quick and simple. There is a Starbucks conveniently located in the lobby and although the rooms are a bit outdated they are spacious and comfortable.
Now for the bad, the cleanliness of this room is disappointing. If I didn't check in so late and have to be up so early I would have complained and requested a new room. While plugging in my phone to charge I noticed visible toe nail clippings at the side of my bed. My carpet does not look vacuumed as there are little tidbits here and there. I question if the washroom was even cleaned due to the fact that there is someone else's hair in the toilet, residue on the toilet seat, toothpaste/ water marks on the mirror and left over soap from the previous occupant on the walls and soap holder.
I'm not a picky person but when I book a hotel I expect it to be clean otherwise I would have booked a motel. I regret not bringing slippers to shower. I didn't even sit on the toilet seat because I don't believed it was wiped down. I'm actually confused as to why the shower isn't cleaned properly considering there is a detachable shower head enabling them to give the walls a proper rinse. It's unfortunate because I have stayed at other locations and never witness anything like this. Hopefully this is a one off
