Gorgeous hotel with beautiful views of the Bellagio Lake from the penthouse!
I love the Bellagio. The property has a gorgeous lake that has shows night, a beautiful garden area right by the main entrance, and gorgeous glass blown art above the lobby. There are plenty of restaurants to chose from with a wide variety of cuisine (steak, sushi, Mediterranean, French, buffet and plenty of little Italian inspired cafes). This hotel seems to always be busy no matter the time of day!
The pool is just a regular pool, no 21 and over day pool parties. There are 2 nightclubs inside, Hyde and the bank. Both are a ton of fun and get busy so I would recommend arriving early or getting a table.
The poker room is a decent size and the casino area is pretty large. Attached to the hotel is a good size high end shopping area with stores such as Tiffany & Co and Louis Vuitton.
All of the staff members I have come into contact with are friendly and smile. If you want to splurge upgrade to the VIP area which has its own private check in and get a view of the fountain. Have your own private viewing of the Bellagio fountain show where you aren't shoving for a front row seat on the strip. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are super comfy!
Bellagio also has a cirque show "O" which is one of my favorites in Vegas. The show is 90 minutes long and has a water element to it. It's hard to describe you just have to see it! There is also a small art museum in the hotel but it is just eh. Right outside of the O theater there is an art display of Richard McDonald's work (he sculpts all of the cirque statues and sells them for big bucks).
It is one of the more high end hotels on the strip but worth every penny!
