Tried this place for hard gel today... very UNHAPPY with the result. Usually I do my own gel nails at home because I need them
to be perfect. But I'm all packed for a move so I had no choice but to go to a salon. To start off, I was disappointed that this place doesn't offer nail extension (no gel sculpting extension, not even acrylic tip extension). Then the lady trimmed my nails on the right hand shorter than my nails on the left hand (but nothing can be done to save it since they don't do extension). Now comes to the gel application part. After painting on the hard gel, she didn't shape my nails and she added thick layers of gel such that it created lumps and uneven surface. When I brought it to her attention that the surface is uneven and the base is too thick, she didn't attempt to shape the surface, instead she "tried" to even it out by applying more top coat. End result: lumpy uneven different length nails. I got so upset that I went straight to another nail salon nearby to have them redo my nails. Julie at this nearby Asian nail salon called Pro Nails by Julie was really nice. She fixed my nails at a discounted price coz she saw how bad Teres did them. She took off the gel I got from Teres, extended my nails, applied new gel, and shaped my nails. Will never go back to Teres, worst nails I've ever got. For American nail salon, Athena in Glendale does a much better job.
