| - We used to ride our Harleys up here and grab a burger and a beer. We returned recently to show my sister and husband this neat little place hidden up in Cave Creek area.
We L-O-V-E the burgers - green chile burgers, that is! Served with potato chips. They offer beer and soda. The bar/food order area is plastered with dollar bills signed by the people who came, had a good time and left their mark.
Outdoor seating are picnic tables. Check out the gift shop, mule, rooster pen. There is another bar outside, some dirty old restrooms (when ya gatta go, ya gatta go).
From what I understand this used to be a stage coach stop from 100 years ago, so even if you think it's lame, it is a part of history.
The menu is pretty basic: Burgers, cheesburgers, green chile cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburgers - they start at around $8.
Grilled cheese, hot dogs, chili, grilled chicken sandwich, BLT, pulled pork, nachos.
Just know that you cannot bring any food in/out, and you cannot take any drinks out. Not even your soda can. The big burly bouncer guy will take you down. Just kidding.
