Very bad service. Tried to lengthen our platinum necklace.
1. Did not give us the customer receipt to start with. When asked, we were told since it will be shipped to our home, they don't normally give customer the slip acknowledging that Tiffany has received the service item! An excuse that could not be worse.
2. Ironically, when we called the store five days after the due day, we were told the item was waiting for us to pick up. They apparently had little idea that it should be shipped to our home. Contradicting their earlier excuse for not granting a customer receipt.
3. When the necklace finally arrived, believe it or not, it is still of the SAME length as before. As if it had been sitting at Yorkdale mall for weeks and never went out for service.
We complained to Tiffany Co., and managed to get the service done at another Tiffany store.
Up to date, the Yorkdale Mall Tiffany never responded or apologized for this issue in any form.
I will not recommend Yorkdale center for any one wishing to experience Tiffany service.
