| - Delightful. We went on a Thursday at happy hour. It was a special occasion, I was retiring from a 23 year career. I opened Yelp to find a place near the ceremony. CPH looked good to me. I am vegetarian, they did not have any vegetarian entrees on the menu I found online, but I don't let that put me off. As soon as walk in, you feel relaxed, and special. The environment is elegant and not stuffy. Our server, Paul, was genuine, professional, kind, sincere, and conscientious. Happy hour drink prices are insanely reasonable. It is evident immediately that we should relax and enjoy each others company and take in the experience. I never felt forgotten, I felt nudged to savor my friends, my food, my drink. We started with the hummus, the little cucumber salad was AMAZING! I told Paul I was a vegetarian and asked if there was anything we could do besides the salads. He told me of a vegetarian entrée that was available yesterday and he asked the chef if it was still available. It was, it sounded delicious, so I tried it. It was AMAZING, risotto, carrots, cauliflower, asparagus, parsnips. The risotto was a teeny tiny bit overcooked but the flavor was awesome and the veggies were PERFECT! And the portion was GENEROUS; Seriously, I took half of it home. It was $20. My gf had the tacos, she loved them and the FRIES, she loved the fries. My husband had the braised short ribs, he reports that they were very very good. We all three shared the beet salad, it was so good I wanted to lick the plate. The beets were cooked perfectly, the fancy lettuce was perfectly crunchy, the dressing was light and addicting. Because it was a special occasion we ordered the black and tan dessert. It was the best dessert I've ever had, I don't know what's in it other than chocolate and heaven, just try it! But, share it, it's rich enough to satisfy four people. We will definitely return.
