  • I'm not sure where the "computerized" comes in but otherwise it's the same name and address for having a custom swimsuit made. I went out there for this purpose in July. I have not been on sun holidays, nor worn a bathing suit for years; I am full figured and self-conscious and felt having custom made would be worth it. I met with Maria, the owner. We tried some suits she had in the store, but none were suitable for my body type so we went on to the custom made process. She fitted me and I left feeling quite excited. When I went back for the fitting a week later, and called in advance to confirm, she told me who would be there (can't remember her name but turns out she is Maria's daughter and one of the two seamstresses). The suit was far from right; she made the comment "I don't know why she fit you with this style"; so she refitted me and assured me they would start from scratch. She told me who would be there next time I went in - the second of the seamstresses who I was told is the most experienced in fitting a fuller sized figure. When I went back a week later and met with her, I almost cried with frustration. This time the suit was even worse in its fit. I felt like giving up. She also said "I don't know why she would fit you in this one..." - so they were each saying same thing about the previous person. Anyway she assured me she could do everything that needed to be done in an hour, which she did. We had several adjustments to make so I was in and out of the suit several times. I will stress that I was happy with the end result. BUT the process was so painful and I was discouraged that they all didn't seem to be on the same page. I doubt I would go through this process again. The only reason I would go back here is if I were to need alterations due to weight loss or something, which they will always do with suits bought or made there. It was very expensive, but I felt it was worth it in the comfort I felt when I went away shortly after this. They request half the amount as a deposit and I did not see until I was paying the balance that it states on the bill the deposit is non-refundable. So while I was in danger of losing my temper and cancelling the order, just as well I didn't. So from an exciting start, it ended up being a frustrating and painful process; and I ended up with less and less confidence. On a final note, while I was waiting for the 3rd (and best) person to work on the suit, the second person I'd seen came out to attend to a customer. I thoguht she might come over to make an apology but she didn't even acknowledge me. I finally got an apology from the person who fixed it all as I was leaving. My Rating is based on the experience, but not the suit I ended up with.
