It was our first time here for dinner. The place was busy, however we were seated promptly. Our wait staff was quick to greet us and bring us very warm fresh chips and salsa. The salsa was a little lacking in the heat department but overall passable. Perhaps the lack of sting was obvious reflection of the demographics of that part of town. As a third generation Mexican American, I've had the privilege of growing up around the culture and experiencing some of the most authentic of authentic cuisine on both sides of the US/Mexican Border. I ordered the batter-less chile relleno stuffed with nicely seasoned shredded chicken. The beans and rice were fresh. The 2 for 1 Margaritas were also well appointed if you know what I mean. Looking forward to coming back.
