This should really be 3.5, but I'll round up. The beginning was shakey. My husband and I fell in here STARVING after a 4 mile run...We got here around noon. The hostess said we'd have to wait 20 minutes yet there were plenty of empty tables. My husband peered his head into the restaurant as he was hinting to the fact of noticing the open tables. The hostess then spoke up and explained that a few waitresses were on break and that she couldn't seat anyone in those areas until they returned. We decided to wait it out
The hostess was accurate in her estimation..it was just about 20 minutes before we were taken to our table. This is another restaurant in Vegas that offers street side seating. I love to people watch so this was perfect to me. I ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich and a salad. Oh my...was I pleasantly surprised! One of the best sandwiches I had ever eaten. It was sooooo good! My husband tried it and agreed which is surprising because it wasn't fried. He is a fried fish guy all of the way! He had even said that he wished he had ordered it.
The salad was made with an assortment of dark, healthy, fresh, greens and a homemade vingearette. It was delicious. The meal was around $20...a bit high...but it was a great meal...great scenery, no regrets. I'll also mention that the waitress was great!
I rounded up to 4 stars because upon first appearance, I didn't expect to have such a good meal here. I thought it would be mediocre at best. I'm glad that I was wrong.
