  • It was a Saturday, labor day weekend, and I heard a loud pop in my engine, after that, my steering went out. I was right near brake masters at the time, so I went there. Turned out that my harmonic balancer went. The guys at the shop checked it out, showed me a diagram of exactly what happened, and the labor that will be involved to fix it. Needless to say, I had a perfectly running jeep in about 2 hours. The guys were extremely nice, and didn't try to "take me." A lot of car repair places would do that if they saw a woman coming. It's great to know there are good honest mechanics out there! I am very grateful (and a bit surprised) that they were able to get my Jeep taken care if on a holiday weekend! :) Thanks Brake Masters!
