| - Are you a beer snob? If yes, then read on or better yet, just go there right now.
My husband and I have found a great locals spot!! The inside of the bar wasn't spectacular, but the service and beer/whiskey selection more than made up for that. They have a huge beer frigde with a selection of bottled craft beer anyone can appreciate. They have my fav. Abita Purple Haze (a delicious Raspberry beer made in New Orleans) and my husband's fav. the 120 Minute Dogfish Head IPA!!! I'm not a IPA fan, but if you are then you know what I'm talking about and how hard it can be to get. We have not checked out the Whiskey Attic yet, but it sounds pretty amazing if you love your whiskey. They have rotating taps as well.
The bartenders were attentive and fun. One of them kept giving me Hersey kisses, what's not to love about that? They have live music; we heard 2 bands play and they were pretty good. Also, I don't know if smoking is permitted - But if it is this place was not smoky at all, I enjoyed that. They serve some food prepared right in front of you, behind the bar, and I'm a little confused on Vegas' definition of Dives but in my opinion this is not divey, it's casual.
I need to say this again, this is a beer/whiskey bar. They do have some liquor but if you are looking for mixed drinks, then why did you pick this place? Don't complain if they don't have what you want and instead take advantage of what they're known for (which as mentioned is a very large selection of BEER & WHISKEY). Once you enjoy enough of that you will no longer care that you can't have your vodka red bull. :)
