Wow! what a terrific store! Spotlessly clean and some of the nicest produce I've seen in a long time. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful even with an old gringo like me.
Angela in the meat department was able to answer all my questions and we talked about a variety of their specialized items and spices. Today was my 2nd visit and she greeted me right away as I was looking for some chicken feet to cook a broth for my daughter's sick cat.
Liquor, beer and wine is in a separate area as you walk in so it makes sense to get your booze first and then you can explore the wide and beautiful aisles.
They also have a great area for Mexican kitchen supplies like pumice molcajetes that can be heated to incredible temperatures to serve hot stews and soups in a roaring tableside event that will remind you of a volcano. Tortilla presses, citrus juicers, etc. My personal request would be to get the Oak log cutting-boards that are so popular in Mexican cooking.
My only buzz kill was a young lady that checked me out tonight and she was hesitant to be friendly to me. She must have thought I was a Trump supporter. Great store, big fan.
