  • I first came into contact with Rick and Cindy 6 weeks ago via their Meetup group. They really go the extra mile as others have said in previous reviews. Every two weeks while the weather is still cool, they hold a ride from the store to Camelback mountain. On arrival the truck is waiting to transport all the bikes to the other side of the mountain, while another person leads the group on a 2 hour hike over the mountain. After the hike your bike is waiting and everyone rides off to a nice restaurant for lunch. It's quite an adventure, and no other bike shop works this hard to please their customers. Back at the store, they helped me considerably with very professionally fitting my bike to me and carrying out all the necessary adjustments, including installing new cables. During the process, their tech Jeff noticed the spring on my rear derailleur wasn't working properly and would probably need a whole new unit. But he took the trouble to take it apart and relocate the spring, effectively repairing the derailleur. I simply cannot imagine this happening in any other bike shop in the Valley, people don't repair things any more! I went there with a badly fitted bike that hurt my back and that didn't change gear very well, and left with a perfectly fitted bike that's a pleasure to ride and changes gear like a Swiss watch. It's hard to find this kind of service at any price, but they did it all for a very reasonable fee. I also like the fact that while they are a Giant store and have lots of their own brand of accessories, they carry all the other major brands as well. The price range of accessories is from very modest to quite professional, they cater to everyone. Giant Scottsdale is now my bike's new home, hand on heart I recommend them highly.
