The hotel itself is beautiful, and it is definitely nice to get a break from all of the smoke filled casinos, but we will not be choosing the Vdara for our next stay in Vegas. The staff was very friendly, however the food is TERRIBLE. We ordered room service our first night and couldn't even stomach to eat the food that we payed over $60 for. We payed really good money to stay in this hotel, and we were slapped with an $18/ day valet fee. Upon checkout we were informed that this is a new policy. Kind of ridiculous. I learned from our previous stay to bring my own coffee pot because they also charge $20/day for a coffee pot. They nickel and dime you. Overall, we were hoping and expecting just a little more for our money then what we received. There are just too many options in Vegas to be left feeling underwhelmed.
