  • Ah, the Flamingo hotel, I've stayed here before and had a good experience especially with the design and up keep of the rooms. This time for a good time on the strip my husband and I search the web for a good place to have a stay-cation for our 2 year wedding anniversary. We came to the the Flamingo. Unfortunately once we checked in to the room the line was so long we decided to use their new automated system and the machine kept saying my Driver's license was expired! Even the attendant couldn't get it to work. Thankfully she took us to V.I.P. Once we got into the room it looked good and intimate for my husband and I. Even an awesome view of the bird sanctuary, pool & High Roller. Then taking a closer look unfortunately the room was quite beat up! I took pictures of the bathroom that was the worst and falling apart. It didn't hinder our fun of our celebration just was disappointed because I know they have had nicer rooms in the past! The rest of our stay as far as convenience, the Go Pool, and overall feel was nice. I'm not sure if I would stay again just because it seems they are not taking the care of the room as they should.
