| - I came for a Sunday Brunch with my family at around noon on a Sunday. I wasn't very impressed with the service or the food. The place was very nice with some background music that wasn't too loud. There was plenty of room to maneuver around.
The presentation of the food in general didn't seem very appetizing. We came at noon and I expected that the food would be "fresh". Much of the food I got and tried was dried out, either sitting out for a while or over cooked. For example, General Tsao's Chicken, chicken parmesan sliders, the Grilled Cobia, the country fried steak, the hash Browns, sweet honey roasted chicken, pork at the taco bar, chicken & jalapeƱo sausage, and even the meatballs. I didn't try other stuff because it didn't look very appetizing, especially the food in the Asian section. The stuff just seemed like it was just slopped there.
The best things I had were the spring mix salad with thousand island dressing and the clam chowder. The cold snow crab legs were fine because they were cut in half; why can't the cut the boiled snow crab legs. Also, the cold peel and eat shrimp was also fine.
The service was just so-so. You have to pretty much ask for everything because when your drinks run down from tiny glasses, they do not automatically refill them, not once. I saw quite a few of the workers gathered together just shooting the breeze. The atmosphere was decent and I liked that there are bathrooms inside the buffet so you wash your hands after eating the shrimp and crab.
I don't eat desserts too often and was told it was just okay. Just average, nothing special and not much to chose from. There were quite a few flavor sod ice cream to chose from from their rotating wheel.
I was very disappointed with my food and service experience.
