I'm always on the search for a better croissant; sadly, this is not that spot.
The butter croissant was tough and doughy. I'd have better spent it on a maple dip donut across the street.
The almond croissant was a little better; garnering 3 stars. Possibly because the caramellization of the almond paste added a crunchier mouth feel. Or perhaps it was reminiscent of the chinese bakery style coconut buns.
the sample of their boule (white oval loaf) was decent though. might try that next time.
