| - This will be expensive meal. However, we spent less then other nice meals in Vegas. The atmosphere is interesting, it definitely feels throw back and its nice that's its literally steps down so it feels like it is in a cellar. Its dimly lit and has a very cozy feeling. They give all the women a rose, which is cheezy and vintage in the best way. I did really dislike the fact that there was no bathroom in the restaurant, you have to go into the casino and the casino and the bathrooms are not near as nice as the restaurant.
There is a lot included with entrees. This is really nice because it allows you to enjoy the evening with spaced out servings. However one of my complaints were its way too much food. We started with a bottle of wine and the bread/lavosh. I love the fact that sommelier serves and tastes every single bottle. At other places we went to they didn't seem to bother for cheaper bottles. The bread was really good and I was big fan of the lavosh, I haven't had good lavosh in ages. There is sorbet that was nice to cleanse the palate.
Then was the salad cart. Again vintage, but I loved it and honestly wish more places did this. It's not just a garden salad there are tons of selection of items to add and different dressings. My husband and I can both be picky, so it was nice to not ask to hold things and just be able to add what you want. Everyone said it on here and it really is when of the best salads I have had.
Then with your entry comes vegetables and potatoes. I got the ten ounce filet. I love filet but this was about 2 times too big for me. It was amazing and the Bearnaise was really good, but I was stuffed just getting through half of it with everything we had before. I wished they had a smaller option. My husband got the filet with shrimp and loved that.
The chocolate dipped fruit was really good and nice to end the evening. I was so stuffed I only ate one. I wanted more of everything, so it was hard to control myself, but next time I will eat less bread to save room for entree and dessert. Overall service was great, very attentive. We were in a little bit of a hurry and they were good about taking care of us quickly.
