For a place that doesn't even do its own meats, it puts on airs of being a legitimate Jewish Deli. The overrating of the place is most likely due to its lack of competition. There are some good cooks who put out tasty food, and friendly waitstaff, but the owner would rather nickel and dime you than have you leave with a positive experience. Turns out, you can't order a side of latkes and only two eggs. You have to order the two eggs, potatoes, and toast. And you can't sub a Latke for the potatoes. And if you order Challah toast, be prepared for only one slice as opposed to an expected two slices of toast. Cost more for Challah.
