TLDR; Go to Hampton Inn across the street. Overpriced for what you get.
After coming from a long trip from Arizona we decided to take a rest stop before moving on to Reno NV. On the freeway we say this place and the Hampton just across the street. I figured it'd be much cheaper to stay here compared to The Hampton. BOY WAS I WRONG.
We were greeted by an under construction hotel. We were so tired from our trip we didn't care but to just get some sleep. That sleep would cost $152.
The hotel clerk was pleasant and told us if we wait an hour before checking in she could put it in for a fully day rather than having us check out at 12:00. We were quite pleased with that offer. Getting the room key was no issue but the real problem is the room itself.
The pictures on Yelp must be quite old or we got a remodeled version. First thing we noticed was the bathroom doors. No locks just two privacy doors like in an old western film. Next was the heater. It was around 45-50 degrees in Nevada and when I went to turn on the heater... it was missing the knobs... so it was literally like a heater for show. I tried playing with what was left without the knobs but it wouldn't even slightly kick on.
Then comes the shower. The SHOWER DOESN'T EVEN WORK. If you want a bath no problem but you can't make it adjust from bath to shower. There is also a bunch of dry wall pieces on the floor of the bathroom like it's been recently remodeled.
Lastly and most importantly... the bed. Clean? Yes. Nice? Yes. Comfortable? HELL NO. The mattress is like sleeping on wood. We were too tired to care but geez man.
Overall.. it was clean and a place to sleep but was NOT worth the $152 price tag. $30 would have been a reasonable 5 star review from me. Also good luck finding parking.
