| - Just west of Square One is one mother of a big box complex. At the corner of Mavis and Britania, it occupies about a good square 2 kilometers of land. With a woman friend, it takes about a full Sunday afternoon to get through only about half the shops. If you're doing the male thing, it still takes your Sunday afternoon to cover the 4 quadrants that comprise the Heartland Town Centre proper (not including the Wal Mart super centre, CostCo, Future Shop, etc. further south along Mavis).
Most of the major retailers you find in Toronto's various shopping malls maintain an outlet version here. There's also a range of dining options including Harvey's, greek, Subway, Tucker's Market Place, the Keg, and so on. No Manchu Wok, however.
All 'n' all, if you're looking for a suit, workout wear, eye glasses, a leather jacket, or shoes, Heartland Town Centre is worth checking out first before hitting the mall.
