  • One positive thing I can say is the service waiting area is relatively nice where service centers go. I've had A LOT of experience with service centers across the country. Sometimes a service centers sees you coming with an older car and they see dollar signs. Making assumptions about things regarding your ability to pay and thine taking advantage. I used this service center as it was at the dealership which is supposed to be the gold standard. Had some work done and the. Thereafter had to bring it back a few times to have it redone as it never was completed quite right. Each time they were eager to hand over long lists of things that "I needed" and they recommended. As time pasted, the recommendations got increasingly and suspiciously more expensive. As time progressed, the service coordinators began change constantly and it was impossible to build a report with anyone. There was one or two guys in there that I half way trusted (Ryan Schaffer was one of them), as for the rest of them absolutely not. Unfortunately one or two goods guys can't make up for the rest. I don't know if they get a commission on service sales but I wouldn't be surprised! Not to mention the hounding and stalking calls you get by the car salesmen after having your car serviced, even after I repeatedly asked them to stop! It was even insinuated as an explanation for a failed repair of theirs that "someone had put my car up on a lift and tampered with" the exact part that they had just fixed. Really could it have been that the job that was initially fine there was done incorrectly????? The last straw came with a long list of trumped up "repairs" that they discovered that I supposedly needed after me bringing my car in for an oil change. I declined and promptly went to get a second opinion where I found out that only TWO of the things on the list from mazda south charlotte were actually needed and there had been absolutely no basis for the other recommendations made. Once dishonesty is displayed at a car garage then there's no going back as I'm sure the observed decline of this place will continue. BUYER BEWARE.....STAY AWAY!!!!!!
