I would say the only reason I am giving this restaurant four stars is because of the setting. I love anything outdoors and with a view. The food here is so-so.
Made reservations for Christmas. Ordered the Bacchus cheese plate but ended up with the artisan...it was a sad excuse especially for $18. There were maybe 4 pieces of cheese, 3 grapes and two hard pieces of raisin bread.
Duck salad tasted nothing like I was expecting but maybe because my favorite salad in the world is the duck salad at Hakkasan...this one doesn't even compare and the dressing didn't pair well with the overall taste of the rest of the salad.
French onion soup is just that, average. I ordered a daily special of Chilean sea bass which the waitress said was amazing. It wasn't. It was good but that was about all I can say about it.
The tiramisu was okay too tasted more sweet than coffee-like. Overall, the food is really quite average and I think my favorite part was the wine choice (a Riesling kabinett) and the bread brought at the beginning of the meal. With that said though, I will be back in spring to try the brunch because I love the ambience especially when it starts to warm up.
