| - I was referred to the Core Institute by my primary care physician, and after reading the reviews before my appointment, I have to say, I was a bit nervous.
I arrived at my appointment for my foot, and I was a bit overwhelmed with the size of the place. I was immediately directed to an area where I check in, which was very easy to find, and the gal took my information. She asked me to sit, and I would be called back. Within 10 minutes I was called back for X Rays of my feet. Afterward I was sent back out into the waiting room and told I would be called back to see the PA. I was called back within 5 minutes. I talked to the PA briefly about my feet, and after discussing my issues with him and the pain I have, he immediately acknowledged I would need surgery.
I was escorted out into the waiting area and told the Core Institute would call me with a day and time for my surgery. My appointment took a total of 30 minutes maximum.
Again, as I said, I was initially scared from the previous reviews, but I have overall had a pleasant experience with them. The place is huge, but very well organized and it is a bit impersonal because they see so many people, but overall, I was in and out quick and they did everything they said they would do without missing a beat.
I'm now 6 days post-surgery which was done at Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, and I'm healing great! I have minimal bruising, and the Core institute has already scheduled me for two post-op appointments.
I would go to them again, but hopefully I don't have to. :)
