| - Before I get into it, I want to say that not every single guy who
works here is a bad guy. Some of them are cool, but for the most part,
and way more often than not, I've had to deal with douchebags.
I brought my gun here for a visual inspection after getting it from a
friend. For twenty years or so, it sat in a gunsafe and there was
nothing wrong with it.
I took it to them to have it looked over by the gunsmith, just to be
safe. It took about a week and four days to just open the gun to look
at it, which since it was a 38 Revolver, isnt that hard.
Looking back, I should have done it myself. I'm sure he could have
done it in the time I spent looking around, but the only thing these
guys seem to enjoy is shooting is the shit with the other gun snob
customers who seem to inundate this store every time I've ever been
there. And I have been in that neck of the woods since 1983.
If you want to look at something in their case, they make it clear
you're wasting their time, as they assume you're not going to buy it.
When I came back to get my gun, it was 15 mins before closing and the
cashier bitched at me that he was trying to close. "If you wanted that
gun, why did you have to wait 15 minutes before closing to get it?!"
Sorry your job is inconveniencing you, dickhead!
Yesterday I called and asked what the fee would be if I had a gun from
gun-broker shipped to them. Once again, I got their trademark shitty
attitude.
Prices are run of the mill. So are the guns.
If you find something at the right price here, buy it. But if you're
just getting into guns or looking around, go somewhere else for sure.
