| - This place is so quaint and cute; I love the atmosphere. That said, it is always super busy here. Whenever I've gone, there's always been a line and finding somewhere private to sit can be difficult. The food has always looked so delicious behind the glass case, but their food is a tad pricey. I've always considered their food a "look but don't touch" kind of deal. Maybe one day I'll justify paying ~$9 for a tiny little quiche. For now, I'll stick to their coffee and tea as a splurge.
I love the presentation at Sambalatte. The teas come in their own little presses, there are signature drawings in the foam of your latte, their food is beautifully presented, and the coffee shop itself is comfortably adorned.
The nutella latte is rich and creamy, but make sure to stir up your latte. Nutella, as most know, is really thick and can tend to gather at the bottom of your cup. If your latte is missing that hazelnutty sweetness, try stirring it up! The teas are also wonderfully brewed and taste clean and crisp. Whenever I order a latte or tea, I never need to add anything extra because they're tastefully delicious on their own.
Overall, although it's a tad pricey and has recently become very busy with people from a diverse age group, I still enjoy coming here each and every time. You pay for what you get, and the drinks are really of a high quality.
