| rev:text | It looks a lot better in pictures!
First, the good things:
-Nice grounds/landscaping
-Convenient location
-Pleasant staff
-Quiet
-Moderate price for being in Scottsdale
Negatives:
-The rooms are outdated with old appliances, furniture, the wooden kitchen table had stains, tv's a old and mounted armoires
-No desk or desk chair- Not really a hotel for the business traveler
-The frig doesn't get cleaned and that was obvious by the jar of salsa left in it
-It's a hike from your car to your room
-People smoke on their patio
-The patio area where the jacuzzi is or used to be is locked and vacant. Can't even open your bedroom door to get a morning breeze
-Don't buy the breakfast unless you have a lot of time to wait since you have to order, allow time to prepare then eat. There is no breakfast buffet. If you have time, the breakfast is good.
-The $15 resort fee was not listed during the reservation process and is a rip off Who cares about USA today newspaper, one hour bike rental if a bike is even available, 3-mile ride if available but they don't offer any flexibility 4.0 miles was a NO, wireless internet which is available in all hotels and coffee shops, appetizer at the pool bar (that means you have to buy a drink, listen to the terrible sound system which plays the radio and be exposed to the bright white light at the pool bar), 2 bottles of water (why don't they just charge $1.00 fee instead and be done with it).
-The rooms need a good scrubbing! The tile floor in the kitchen was filthy and the windows needed to be cleaned.
-No guest laundry
-No guest BBQ's so forget it if you want to enjoy a steak |
